11am – Hanging Rock Winery – tastings.

Enjoy the scenic views across to Mt Macedon and the forest from the hillside tasting room. Wines include the Macedon Sparkling wine, Jim Jim Sauvignon Blanc and the wonderful Heathcote Shiraz.

2.30pm – Mount Macedon Winery – tastings

It is ideally situated for the production of sparkling wine and fine, cool climate table wines, notably Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

3.45pm – Mawarra Estate – tastings

The friendly Mawarra Winery produces a medium-bodied, spicy and berried Pinot Noir, lemony and lemon grassy Semillon and delightful Chardonnay.

4.30pm – Depart the Macedon Ranges to return to Melbourne
